The company behind rentmaputo.com is Fossati-Moiane.
It began as a small family business with its first vehicle rental to guests in 2011.
With a small website, and a lot of luck, the company landed its first corporate contract the following year. What began as a support service to short term guests in Maputo, found itself as a large scale operation in five provinces and over 90 vehicles within a decade.
The roots and ethos of the company has always been on building a family. Many employees have been working with the company for over 10 years.
With three main offices, personnel in five provinces and many happy clients, we hope that the family and business continue to grow in the next decade.

It is difficult to price the nuance of a rental vehicle on a website.
Are you a tourist, where are you going? Crossing a border or two, perhaps some deep sands or going into a difficult terrain. The pricing is never linear. The more we know about your trip, the better we can accommodate for you.
If you have a corporate need, the timing, length, details of your exact specifications are all necessary to price accurately. Perhaps we have a vehicle for you in our fleet, or might need to buy one to fit your health, safety, and environment specifications.
All types of governments and organizations come to Mozambique. We can take care of your entire sports team, or get you picked up on the tarmac off of your non-commercial flight. We are ready for any challenge and have probably already provided whatever service you might need!

Vehicle Usage
Mozambique has many types of roads, not all vehicles are acceptable for all types of trips, be sure to let us know where you need to use your vehicle. 4x4s are allowed anywhere.
Insurance Always Included
We offer FULL COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE on all our rentals, there is no deductible required. Insurance covers usage in all adjacent countries, we can accommodate trips in other countries with special insurance arrangements.
No Deposit Required
No deposit is required to book a vehicle.
Drivers
Our drivers can accompany you anywhere, there is just the additional cost for their room and board if they travel outside of the city where the rental originates.
Kilometers Included
Limitations on kilometers depend on pricing. Base rentals normally include 200km.

Children's Seats
We have baby and booster seats for children, just ask! No extra charge.
Pets
Pets are allowed in SOME of our vehicles, most are not to accommodate for allergies.
